Supply Chain Officer - London (onsite)

 

Introduction:

BioTalent are working exclusively with an innovation-driven and unique CDMO organisation who focus on manufacturing viral vectors and gene-modified cells for clinical trials. They have a fantastic opportunity available for a Supply Chain Officer to join them onsite in London.

 

If you are an experienced GMP Production Scientist and have a background in working across grade A cleanrooms for biotech organisations and are looking for a lateral move into Supply Chain, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ordering materials and consumables to meet GMP non GMP useage plans.
  • Ensuring stock levels are maintained as required.
  • Taking in deliveries and storing / moving stock as required.
  • Providing materials and consumables on time for manufacturing runs and or Laboratory PD & Innovation work
  • Ensuring storerooms are kept in a fit for use state.
  • Completing administration, records and GMP documentation as required.
  • Undertake audits of stock when required.
  • To be responsible for the completion of tasks and projects within executed established timelines.
  • Raise, report and resolve purchasing and warehousing issues in a timely manner and effectively.
  • Proactively identify impending problems and propose preventative steps.

 

Desirable Experience:

  • Background within GMP
  • Experience within the biotech industry would be advantageous.
  • Self-motivated and willing to accept temporary responsibilities outside of initial job description.
  • Shows initiative and delivers results under supervision.
  • Good level of organisation and ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • To be responsible for the completion of tasks and projects within executed established timelines.
  • Ability to think creatively and demonstrate troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
